We had the most perfect week at this home! Girls trip with 4 of my good friends and we were blown away by the home, the gardens, the host & the surrounding area. Spent time relaxing on the terrace, drinking wine & catching up with the girls. Centrally located for easy day trips to surrounding villages to check out weekly markets or just stroll through the charming towns. My friends and I are already talking about planning another trip back to stay here in the coming years. Thank you Moritz for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!
We had a wonderful long weekend in Bonnieux! This is the perfect place to truly unwind and enjoy the beauty of Provence. The house is full of character and charm, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. When the days got a bit too warm, a refreshing dip in the pool was just perfect. The local markets in Bonnieux and Apt are definitely worth a visit. In short, an amazing and memorable holiday!

We had an incredible time at The House in Provence! The location is fantastic, the green areas and the pond are very well looked after and make this place magical. I would definitely recommend this stay.

I cannot recommend this home and location enough, I recently had a stay here with a group of friends and I was blown away by the location and surrounding nature here. The towns of bonnieux and apt are stunning with superb European markets. The house itself is amazing, so peaceful in beautiful grounds, and so much nature around. There is so much space to enjoy a great time with friends. The pool was a fresh temperature in October but very clean and perfect for a cool refreshing dip in the warm sunny days. A real authentic French home and experience and I can’t wait to return for another holiday here. Thank you for opening your home up to the world!

Hello Moritz, I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to stay at your wonderful property! We had the most amazing time! Your house is exceptional! Besides being beautiful, it has a very calming and relaxing nature. It truly felt like home away from home. It is indeed the best property we ever stayed at! Can't beat the location either... We enjoyed exploring Bonnieux, Roussillon, Gordes, Menerbes, Loumarin, L'Isle sur la Sorge, Valensole, Mount Ventoux, and everything in between! I didn't want to leave! 😅 We hope to return some day.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time at Moritz’s home in Provence. Feeding the fish in the pond was a highlight for the kids, and we enjoyed that everything we needed was there in the house - from a kitchen with all the appliances to a grand piano! The home is a great base to explore Provence and the beautiful ochre cliffs nearby. Moritz is a very friendly and organized host, and the information he gave us about how to navigate everything in the house was very clear and helpful. In all the little details, you can tell there have been many beautiful family memories here throughout the years - which added to the charm of Moritz’s home. We hope to come back soon!
Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt! Wir verbrachten 8 Nächte mit Freunden in diesem fantastischen Haus. Die Lage ist einfach atemberaubend, umgeben von Natur und viel Land mitten im Luberon. Das historische 400 Jahre alte Haus hat uns verzaubert, und der Garten lädt wahrhaftig zur Entspannung ein. Das Innere des Hauses spiegelt den Charme der Provence wider. Wir haben jede Minute genossen und können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen!
Our family had an incredible stay at this villa in Provence! The location is superb, just a short 2-minute drive to Bonnieux and close to other charming villages and markets. The villa offers perfect privacy, a true haven for a family vacation. We loved the serene atmosphere, feeding the fish in the pond, and lounging by the pool. The house is beautifully clean with charming decor, ideal for a Provencal getaway. Cooking in the rustic kitchen with all amenities was a joy. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space with comfortable garden furniture made relaxing easy. The hosts were excellent—friendly, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. Their communication ensured a seamless, enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this peaceful retreat in Provence!
This is the best house we have ever rented anywhere! The beautifully-restored old house, the extensive and beautiful grounds, the comfortable patio seating under old plane trees--and especially the pond with its frogs and toads. When we had questions, the concierge and owner communicated with us immediately. We will come back always.
