Located in the medieval town of Les Arcs sur Argens, this one-bedroom house in Provence sleeps two, but can accommodate up to four.

The house is set in a narrow street leading from a small square to the arched entrance of the medieval quarter, adjacent to the clocktower. It is the ideal base for exploring both the town and the region.

Thirty minutes inland from the busy Cote d’Azur, you can relax and enjoy the ambience of a typical Provencal town, while remaining in easy reach of the A8 Paris-Nice autoroute and TGV (fast) train that connects directly with Paris and Italy.

Les Arcs sur Argens is part of La Dracenie, a region comprising 16 picturesque towns and hilltop villages centred around Draguignan, the former departmental capital of Var.

There is a strong cultural thread running through village life with festivals, music, art exhibitions, historical re-enactments throughout the year, not to mention a magical Christmas celebration.

Les Arcs sur Argens is five minutes from the A8 (Paris-Nice autoroute) interchange at Le Muy for easy access to beaches and airports. The nearest international airports are at Nice (90 mins) and Marseilles (120 mins).

The railway station, Les Arcs-Draguignan, is a 20-minute walk from the house (taxis available). The TGV high speed train stops here and provides direct links to Paris, Marseilles, Nice and Italy. There are also regular local trains.

A car is desirable to explore the region, but not essential.

The nearest major town is Draguignan (11km) with a bus service to and from Les Arcs every 30 minutes.  You can access major car hire firms in Draguignan or take organised tours through the region. Check with the Draguignan tourist office located on its main street.
